Explore The Awesome View of Saturn’s Rings

This stunning image shows Saturn’s rings making ways for the planet’s moon. The image was taken in July 2016 by NASA’s Cassini spacecraft that is an exploration mission for Saturn and its moon. In the image you can see how the moon holds open gap in Saturn’s Ring. According to NASA’s report the gap is a 200 mile wide opening which is approximately 324 kilometer.

The image taken by Cassini’s narrow angle camera is a lot sharper that managed to take this stunning photo of Saturn’s Rings. Cassini was 841,000 miles away from the planet when it captured the view according to facts published by NASA.

The view is undoubtedly spectacular and it will be interesting to see if NASA releases more photos of Saturn and its moons.
